TN SAVIN is Tennessee's Statewide Automated Victim Information and Notification program. It reaches users through VINELink, telephone, and supported mobile channels. A genuine release or out-of-custody event supports one limited fact: the named reporting agency ended its custody. It does not explain why the release occurred. It also does not show that a criminal case ended, that supervision did not begin, or that another agency did not take custody. A later booking is possible as well. Henry County SAVIN Support
Henry County has a distinct local support layer within the statewide system. A 2022 local SAVIN notice reports Sheriff Josh Frey's appointment to the Tennessee Sheriffs' Association SAVIN Committee. This role does not create a separate Henry County notification database. TN SAVIN remains the service, and the jail remains the custodian of its booking-and-release record. The local SAVIN announcement specifically promotes MobilePatrol beside VINELink, telephone, and TTY. That supports a mobile custody and notification access path for Henry County residents. It does not prove that the app carries a rolling recent-release list. Nor does it establish a booking-photo field, release reason, update schedule, or retention period for the live Henry County agency view.
Open the Tennessee agency view and inspect what it currently shows. Check the agency name, person identifiers, event language, and date before relying on it. If a field is absent, do not fill the gap from a Georgia app or a third-party search result. County, State, and Federal Releases
The correct follow-up depends on the custody system. VINELink does not replace the Bureau of Prisons locator. Nor is TN SAVIN the same as DHS-VINE for eligible immigration custody notifications. Use ICE ODLS for its limited current and recent immigration-custody scope; the U.S. Marshals Service has no comparable public historic locator. No BOP prison, ICE detention center, or USMS facility was identified in Henry County. A person who leaves the county jail under another authority may have been transferred rather than freed.
